A Golden Love Story — Camphouse 50th Anniversary Surprise Vow Renewal 🌺

Fifty Years. One Unshakable Love. A Beach Surprise to Remember.

When the Camphouse children reached out to plan a surprise for their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, they had one goal in mind: to give them the dream moment they never had. And oh, did they deliver.

T & B met at Disney World in their teens—he was 19, she was 18. Both working in the ticket area, he assumed she was engaged thanks to a ring on her finger. But after nervously asking her when the big day was, she said, “I’m not engaged.” That one moment led to a lifetime together.

They got married in a modest ceremony in Daytona Beach on March 4, 1975, at his mother’s home. No wedding gown, no bouquet, no veil. Their honeymoon? A simple camping trip. And yet, their love was—and still is—magical.

Fast forward to 2025: Their children planned a beautiful surprise vow renewal right here in their old Florida stomping grounds. We began at Washington Oaks State Park Gardens for a sweet, intimate couple’s photo session. Then, we headed to Marineland Beach, where their daughters were waiting with a veil, bouquet, altar, minister, and family & friends for a heartfelt beachside ceremony.

Watching T & R’s reactions—the joy, the shock, the tears—was a reminder that true love grows stronger with time.

I had the honor of capturing this day with a combination of video and stills using my Canon R6, GoPro Hero 12, and Hover Air X1 Pro. The light, the location, and most importantly, the love—made it all unforgettable.

💛 Here’s to 50 years of laughter, resilience, and devotion. And to a couple who finally got the wedding moment they always deserved.
